Tacx/booster
5I bought this product to train in the cold months/rainy days,i was advised by a friend who owns a bike shop that this is the one best machines for the price on the market ,so when i recieved my Tacx booster i had set it up within 30 minutes and testing it the following morning.......it was great 10 resistance to use plus going up and down through your bike gears......45 minute workout .My adice is go and get one as you will not be disapointed 10/10

4I reviewed various write up's from others and decided that this was for me to try out, initial building of the trainer wasn't too much of a problem for me (as a seasoned DIYer) but I fully agree with the other reviews that there is a lack of information as to the final setting up, i.e. under the roller there is an adjusting bolt to raise or lower the roller a bit to ensure contact with the tyre upon lifting of the lever. There is no mention of this anywhere in the instructions. To date I have been on it every night whilst watching the TV without having to turn the volume up. Quieter than I had expected. Would recommend without a second thought.

5The Tacx Booster Turbo Trainer was delivered promptly and without any fuss, the trainer is easily assembled and of excellent quality. It takes up very little room and when not in use it is foldable. I would certainly recommend ProBike for their quality of service.

..can handle a sprint without bogging down
3The booster is designed for high power workouts at low speed. It works off magnetic resistance and boasts a 2kg flywheel, so retains some momentum when you ease off the pedals. It can also handle a sprint without bogging down or spinning out and is stable under power. It has 10 resistance settings controlled via a bar lever, and we found every level save for the lowest to be really hard work-ok if you're a bigger rider or want to do low rev workouts, but not a lightweight who likes to spin.
