Awesome wheels

Wheels arrive fast and well packed. Documentation inside a nice Fulcrum pouch. Wheels true and in perfect working order. They run almost totally silent, minimal clicking in coasts. Attractive, stylish design. Pleased as can be. Superior quality.

Great wheelset

Fabulous upgrade for my Pinarello. Replaced my Zipp 60’s. This wheelset is so quiet, rolls super slick (Cult bearings!) and weighs next to nothing. Shipping was quick, although I was unaware of an import tax. Still happy overall.

CULT makes all the difference

I've used reg Zero C17 before this one and my main wheel sets are Bora Ultra and Lightweight. This Competizion has huge difference from regular Zero C17. It rides so much smoother with CULT bearing. I'm enjoying it so much that I've sold Bora Ultra and keeping this one as main wheelset!

Fulcrum Racing Speed Competizione C17

Bought a set of these as an upgrade to try C17 rims from a 32h 3x Record with Alpina 15g oval spokes and C15 Mavic Open Pro rims which both wheelsets are the same weight. This is my first wheelset with the flat aluminum spokes. The Aluminum spokes provide a really stiff wheel even for the front radial wheel (compared to RS XLR with steel spokes). Rear wheel is really stiff and transmits power really well. The CULT bearings are really nice (this is the 2nd set of wheels I have with CULT, Fulcrum Racing Speed XLR tubular too). The CULT bearings tend to coast easier, requires slightly less power to keep at a constant speed. They are a very slight upgrade from the Record hubs high quality steel bearings but noticeable; assuming you can notice those subtle changes. These are also Tubeless Ready although I'm using regular Vittoria Corsa G+ with butyl tubes right now. It seems only the Shamals come Tubeless Ready as an alternative with USB bearings. Great set of wheels and should last a long time.
