Great for the money

As others have said, given the price point these are awesome. The freewheel is nearly silent, which I prefer. For Campy users like myself, note that there are two potential cassette lockring thread sizes and these wheels require the LARGER of the two. I pulled a 9sp cassette from my old wheel circa '01 and found the lockring threads were too small. Fortunately I dug thru my tool bag and stumbled upon a spare lockring with larger threads that fit perfectly. Despite being a machinist I was in a hurry and did not measure the actual thread sizes, sorry.

Great Wheels

Great wheels, very light for the price point. Easy to install (no rim tape required) and easy to fit the cassette, all set up and fitted within an hour. Look nice too.

Worth the upgrade

5

Wanted to upgrade the stock shimano wheelset that came with my bike and these fit the bill and budget. Considering these were shipped overseas, the box came undamaged and wheels were true right from the box. Mounted a set of Conti GP's and good to go. Definitely recommend at this price as they were selling for more at my LBS.

Quality Wheelset

5

I was a little disappointed that the rear wheel arrived out of true but that's a relatively minor gripe since I have a truing stand and trued it fairly easily. Although I haven't gotten a chance to ride them yet they appear to be high quality wheels and I'm looking forward to years of use. Weights (on my uncalibrated postal scale) were about 930g rear and 770g front...I believe that's a little bit heavier than the claimed weight.

Value Plus

Wheels arrived safely, quickly and true from the box. I have ridden over 400km on these in the last week and a half on reasonably rough bitumen roads and the wheels have remained straight & true. The wheels spin up well on the flats and are good for climbing also. If you like the sound of a loud/noisy rear hub when you are free wheeling/rolling, you will be disappointed, the rear hub is almost silent. Paired with a set of 25mm Schwalbe Durano tyres they give an excellent ride. Overall the performance, weight and value for money has been excellent.
