Great tires, inflate low

These tires are great, good grip even when wet. However, if the pavement you ride on is rough with sharp stones, inflating the tires to the max pressure (130 psi) will tear them up quickly. I got multiple small cuts all over the tires in just 150 miles and a large, 1/4 in cut that caused a flat. Deflating the tires to 110 was the remedy. Even with all the small cuts the tires perform great and I have not had a second flat in over 800 miles.

Great Tyre

Not normally a fan of tyres with this fine tread. They tend to look worn very quickly.These had a great reputation so thought i would give them a go. Initially tough to get on. They offer a superb ride on the rough roads of New Zealand. Tons of grip and look great too. Will switch back to my usual Michelin Pro's for the summer racing season but do like these as a winter option. No punctures or cuts on them after the first 1500K's

Very good wet weather tyre that are supple under low pressure. Regrettably they do not last (about 2-2.5K KM) so can only give 4/5 but worth the expense for the confidence they give in the rain

I bought a pair of these (25mm) after riding the tubular versions across the cobbles in nthn France/ Belgium this spring. Saw the clinchers at a good price so though I would grab them for a set of winter tyres. No problems in fitting them - rolled them on by hand. Great ride - too early to comment on wear. A premium tyre at reasonable price.

CG clincher Road Tyre

Had The Vittoria Open Pave Cg Clincher road tyre recommended for the type of riding i am doing (semi rough roads). Have found this tyre to have excellent grip and response without loosing the feel of smooth speed on the flat. Great tyre and like the green stripe!

The ride and quality of the tires is great. Very smooth supple ride with superior grip and handling. My only complaint is these tires are very hard to get on my wheels. I have am classic hurricanes with 22 mm rims and it was a struggle. I can normally put tires on without levers but there is no way with these. Once on they will stretch a little and become a little easier to remove with time and use.
