Oval Ring success

I decided to try the AbsoluteBlack Oval chainring and was very happy I did. I feel like it works well and I can feel a difference in the effort necessary to climb. More to come, but so far it was an excellent upgrade.

First time on oval rings and I am sold. These are non- adjustable and fit my pedal stroke like a glove.

First time using oval chainrings and I am sold. I will never return to round rings. Took it out for a 25 mile ride today and felt like I could do another 25 miles. Took a while to get the front derailleur tuned up, but well worth the hassle.

New bike, new chain ring and these AbsoluteBlack rings are absolutely fantastic. SOme have said they cause knee pain, but my 50/34 has caused nothing but faster climbs and even put increase of 2mph average speed!

Oval chainrings

First time trying oval rings and it feels more natural especially on long steeper climbs >10 deg. Less stress on the knees for me. The overall build quality is excellent.

well

It is the best among chainrings. However, there are occasional chain bounces and chain catchers.
