The Campagnolo Zonda C17 wheelset is a wheelset that is perfect for training and commuting – lightweight, reliable and robust. Weighing 1540 grams per pair, this wheelset is 10 grams lighter than the previous version, resulting in a much more responsive ride feel. Thanks to the milled rim, however, this wheelset also boasts class-leading strength and durability.
Campagnolo has equipped this wheelset with alloy hubs filled with steel bearings. As a result, these hubs offer both a high level of durability and the same smooth spin, season after season. These hubs are laced to the rim via 16 aero steel spokes on the front, and 21 on the rear. Using 2:1 spoke ratio on the drive side of the rear wheel helps to maximise stiffness, while the relatively low spoke count on the front wheel ensures this wheelset remains as light as possible.
Like all high-quality Campagnolo wheels, the Campagnolo Zonda’s have been built by a certified Campagnolo technician and checked by electronic instrumentation. This manufacturing process ensures a high-quality build that lasts. In all, a durable, but lightweight wheelset perfect for training, ready to help you hit the season in race-ready condition.

Incredible wheel set Strong and look never stop I improve my speed and timing riding
I don't write many reviews but this might the one of the most regrettable bike related purchases I have ever made. Before buying these I saw everyone's reviews that said these were reliable and an overall solid wheelset. Maybe I got a one off bad copy but these have been anything but reliable. Within the first four months of owning these, I broke 3 spokes between the front and back wheel. In the previous 7 years of riding on other wheels, I had never broken a single spoke. Broken spokes aren't the end of the world but these wheels aren't easily serviceable and spoke kits from Campagnolo aren't exactly cheap. Then while having the spokes replaced, it was discovered that front hub had issues. The rear skewer also make creaking sounds when there is the slightest amount of dirt. Then to top it all off the front wheel all of a sudden decided to start making a hollow knocking sound. It sounds like when your headset is way too loose but nope it was the front wheel. All of these problems have happened in less than one year of ownership. Campagnolo warrantied some of these problems but they just keep piling up and for a wheelset that is supposed to be rock solid, it has been anything but. When the wheels work, they're nice but there is zero chance I'd ever buy Campagnolo wheels again.
Campagnolo Zonda Rim Brake
Bought as a Christmas gift, so still not a ton of miles on them, but ride great. Virtually silent freehub. Stiffer than other wheelsets, so adjust tire pressure accordingly. For the price, I don't know of a better set of wheels, and go perfectly with my Bianchi and Tommasini!
Zonda's are a great product
This is my second set of Zonda's. The first is still going strong after 13 years of hard riding. I am a big (6' 2", 210lbs) guy and the wheels have remained true. Bearings are still in excellent shape.
Best money ever spent on my bike
They're really worth every penny. Upgraded from an entry wheel to Zonda and it made a huge difference in terms of ride comfort. Made me want to ride my bike much more often than before. The only gripe is it's not tubeless ready. But the wheels are very solid and they're the best performance/dollar for all money I spent for upgrades.
No chance to test, but appear others at this price point
Bought them to replace some 13mm Campag Neutron wheel with 25mm tyres that have done good service fast touring here on the cycle lanes and country roads in the Gothenburg area. Wider 17mm rim with 28mm tyres look like they are going to offer a nice compliant ride (the Neutron/ 25mm was ok for most roads but were always a little too firm for cycle lanes). Hubs, rims, spokes and skewers all look to be of excellent quality given modest price, so looking forward to the snow to go and try them out.
My previous Eurus needed replacing after 53k kms. Didn't want to over spend on the old bike, so opted for the Zondas. What a bargain. Only a 100gr or so heavier, beautiful bearings, and immaculate Campag finish. Recommend this as a training wheel for sure
Love this first aftermarket wheel sets
Yes i bought these to replaced my old Shimano RS11. Once after installed ,I can feel better with the climbing power. And also the bearings run so smooth after you spine the wheel (front wheel). it seen doesn't want to stop. The hub is kind of on the quiet side ,i wish it can be louder . Because i love those ratchet sound.
Wheels showed up - Look great - Perfectly true. New, from factory with all papers and documentation. Have not ridden yet - But was extremly pleased with delivery - communication (text and e-mail) during each phase of the delivery was excellent. Will definantly be a repeat customer. Can't wait to get bike built and on the road.
I’m really impressed with my Zonda wheels. Their wider rim promotes a more comfortable ride. I rode these with 23mm tires initially (not recommended by Campagno) and the ride was noticeably improved over my narrower Eurus (2007). 25mm tires are even better.
