The Omloop has been a pro piece since we first saw riders at a cold and dry Omloop Het Nieuwsblad a few years back cutting off their knee warmers. So we figured out how to make a thermal short that doesn’t need a gripper elastic to hold it in place, yet that comes down right to the bend of the knee for extra warmth. Perfect for Autumn/Spring Mornings
These knicks are a joy - comfortable, stretchy, and for a thermal, surprisingly light. They were purchased in (Australian) summer and are a little warm for the typical morning ride (12-25C), but are perfect for a temperature range of 5-15C (40-60F) and with a knee warmer or full leg warmer, great for the Aussie (Melbourne) winter (down to 0C, or below if you live somewhere colder) Sizing is good. I'm 185cm (6'2") and 90kgs and the 2XL is perfect.
