High5 recovery vanilla banana

Have previously used the chocolate version which tastes great with or without milk, this tastes a bit watery without milk. In terms nutrition I find this product to be excellent. Service from PBK was also excellent.

Having used up all my SIS Rego which I have used for the past two years, I saw probikekit had this product on special offer. Initially I added two tubs to the order and took one out before completing the purchase. Delivery was prompt, even more than prompt, as it came the next day even though I did not ask for next day delivery. So after a training ride I made up my first shake. Whereas with Rego there is no requirement to use milk, I always did, reducing the amount of powder slightly. With the High5 they recommend 400mL of semi-skimmed to three scoops 66g of poweder. I found the powder mixed with the milk much easier than the SIS and after a few shakes had dissolved very well. It does not make as thick a shake as the Rego and the taste of the high5 was not as concentrated. However this was banana / vanilla versus SIS chocolate flavour, and I like chocolate. At first, I was a little disappointed in the constituency and taste comparison stakes, but having used the High5, 3 or 4 times now my taste-buds have adapted and now prefer the high5, but in chocolate flavour :) A just wish I had ordered three tubs, not one.

easy to mix, pleasant taste (banana/vanilla),easy on the stomach seems to work OK, usually mix with milk and drink before bed ,seems to ease the aches next day ,not completely, its not a miracle worker but allows you to train the next day...B )

Managed to pick up a tub on a BikeRadar discount so great value for what I paid. You get a much higher protein concentration in many other whey protein isolate products at a similar (full) price though, so at a more regular price I'd go for one of those products with a carb snack over this. Does taste relatively good though!!!

I've used a lot of different brands of recovery drinks over the years - this is amongst the best. Tastes good and dissolves particularity well so you don't get horrible lumps and the mixer is easy to clean afterwards.

good after workout support

Actually this is the first recovery drink that I use but I am really satisfied with it as the other hi5 products especialy 4*1 and iso gels. I already finished 2 jars. It works good after heavy weight training, long bike rides and runs. Also I drink when I have a early morning workout. I mix it with milk and happy with the chocalate flavor.
