I usually eat EnergyGel Plus, but this time bought ISO Gel for new experience. Without weigh of ISO Gel, everything is better than EnergyGel Plus. Slightly heavier but easy to swallow it.

OK, but no better than just OK.

At first, I was attracted by the fairly low price. Might as well give it a try... But it turned out the product was a bit disappointing compared to other energy gels. The packing is very thick, which makes it hard to tear and often results in sticky annoying spills on hands and handlebar. The very fact that it's more like a sport drink than a gel is actually a downside, IMO. It increases the risk of spills. I had the orange flavor and I found it a bit acid, hard on the stomach. The taste is not hat good neither. Bottom line, I'm sure you can find better gels for about the same price elsewhere. It's worth searching a bit farther.

For long training rides and races, these gel packs help conserve your other liquids; you don't have to down a quarter of your water bottle when you take one. Yes, they are a little heavier, but the minimal weight gain is well worth the extra convenience. It also changes ingesting a gel pack from a two step process down to one. If you ever been attacked the minute you rip a goo open, you'll appreciate the simplicity.

Used these on a 480 klm ride over 2 1/2 day ride and felt great with plenty of energy.The taste is good and easy to get down,i still use them on shorter 40klm rides as our group goes out hard and you need something to keep the energy levels up and they work for me so i'm happy to be able to keep with everyone.
