I read the reviews that said it was a fantastic jacket, looked at the price (currently $36 CAN) and thought that it was for sure worth a try. I was NOT disappointed! 2 weeks of mild to heavy rain for my daily 30 minute commute have proved to me that this jacket is THE rain jacket: not one drop got through on the upper body, sweat evacuates easily, there are some adjustable elastics to ensure no water gets in at the neck/waist/wrists.
Get one if your size is available or if you want to give a nice present to a cyclist friend.

good jacket

Picked this jacket up when it was $50CDN. It's an awesome jacket and is packable and super visible with the 3M panels. Waterproofing is amazing on this jacket, even on the zippers. The fit is true to size. I have had a few compliments on the jacket, even just walking on the street.

So if you're a small, stock up since they're super cheap!

Brilliant 3 season jacket

Ok I've only just got this jacket and not really had chance to test it out in the downpours we regularly get in N Wales but first impressions are that it will cope with a wide variety of situations. First the jacket is of excellent quality, well made, good styling and a good close fit on body. I got the small size and am about 37-38" chest with 30" waist. The small is a snug fit but the med would have been flapping around in the wind, which I hate.

Its lightweight and can be packed into a back pocket if you get too warm out on the road or mountain trail. Put this over some thermals or base layers and you have a jacket that can take you through the Spring/Autumn and not too cold winter days. I have a number of other jackets that I wear when its really cold but dry, these may be surplus now I've got the polaris.

And it was a fantastic bargain as well, if you're a small size then get one, you won't regret it. Usual great service from PBK, ordered thurs, delivered sat am.

Incredible performance - buy one

Picked this up in May feeling the £38 price was fantastic value if it delivered as promised.

I have worn this jacket a few times, but specifically 3 times the downpours have been unbelievable (resulting in localised flooding even!). Just last week, riding a 50 mile route around York, I spent the last 30 miles getting thoroughly soaked. My Sportful No Rain Booties finally gave in to the weather, but my jacket didn't. I was bone dry up top which is a great feeling after 3 hours on the bike.

Material feels great, waterproofing is fantastic (water just beads), it is reasonably breathable (how breathable can a waterproof ever be? It's a trade off), and very very comfortable. It easily rolls into a jersey pocket and the velcro fastenings on the wrist are great.

This is one of the best purchases I have made in the last year, and as the description says, it feels like it will last years. Only smalls left now, but if it's your size, BUY IT.

Great jacket for the money

Comfortable, breathable and waterproof. I found the fit a bit odd, but maybe that's just me.

Very good for rainy days.

This is a very good rain jacket with nonflapping fit, nice details and very good rain protection. It is not a lightweight jacket so it does not pack in a small pocket and therefore does not work as a emergency jacket. But when it is raining straight from the beginning of the ride, this is an excellent piece of kit.

Great little waterproof

Caught in a downpour, stuck this on and stopped getting drowned. Was a muggy day, so got a wee bit cooked, but I've paid over 4 times the price of this jacket for Gxxx Txx outdoor wear and it's definitely not been 4 x better than the PBK Neutron from Polaris....!

Sadly I lost my 1st Polaris Neutron PBK Jacket so someone has gained what I believe is a 1st class waterproof that doesn't cook you
when you are on the bike .. so received my replacement (Thankfully)
and used it Sunday 5th June on the Dragon ride - nice to have one again 10/10

This jacket is an excellent shell for those cold days. I use this jacket for my morning commute to work, its very light weight and provides great protection from the weather. Packs up very small.
