The Squadra Stretch Vest is Castellis entry-level cycling wind vest, and it has been completely re-engineered to offer a simple and elegant solution than performs even better.
The body is now made from a coated ripstop nylon to keep the wind off your core. The side panels are made from a tightly knit stretch fabric that provides the perfect close-to-body fit and introduces ventilation to the gilet so you dont overheat or get that boil in the bag feeling.
A high collar provides some welcome protection for your neck. Reflective details help keep you seen in low light. The vest packs down small and will take up minimal room in a jersey pocket.

Very versatile vest
This vest is perfect to wear at the beginning of a ride until you get your core temp up. It then folds up very small and fits perfectly into a jersey pocket. Works well the other way, if the temp drops mid ride. I got knocked off my bike whilst wearing this and sustained road rash to knee and elbow. I expected such a thin vest to be wrecked but not a mark on it. Highly recommended.
CASTELLI SQUADRA STRETCH VEST
This Gilet is very nice, extremely lightweight; and yet providing a good wind break. I like it ! SIZE ? like all Castelli Products they come up small; so this vest (Gilet) is no exception. I'm 5ft.10 with a 38 in = 98cm chest. I bought a large (L) size and it's tight over a Perffetto Jacket, although it does stretch. I have two of them Yellow and Orange. If anyone with a chest measurement over 40in (103cm) I'd suggest an XL in size. they're not cheap but I do like my Castelli stuff. PBK has them on offer, at present. Hope this review helps.
