Great wheels for the price

I'm a relatively new cyclist and have the fulcrum 5'ahx8s on my old frame which I was happy with. I bought a new frame and am building it up so wanted a similar wheel or slight upgrade. I was going to go for the 3's but saw these. For the price I decided they were great value. I've been using them a couple of weeks now including a 100km ride. Very happy with the wheels. A little stiffer then the 5's, light weight

Fulcrum Quattro LG 2016

I'm very happy with this purchase. I did do my due diligence when looking to purchase this wheelset and the reviews and product write-ups were positive. Having a 28mm wheel to suit the 28mm tyre improves the roll and comfort of the ride significantly. I was previously riding on American Classic 420 Aero 3 wheels and the Fulcrum Quattro LG provide a much smoother roll and ride feel. At the price offered by Probikekit I found it was an unpassable deal. If you are looking for a nice wheelset that give a comfortable, quiet ride then you can't go past the Fulcrum Quattro LG.

2016 Quattros - look and feel the goods

So, my main reason for purchasing this wheel set was their fantastic price. I also wanted something that gave me the aero look and feel I desired. These wheels deliver on both aspects sweetly. I've only done 200kms on them so far, so can't comment on longevity of the wheels but I can say that what I pulled out of the box was as true as can be, they still are. The machined (is it machined) breaking surface provides excellent grip and helps pull me up from speed very well, particularly compared to my old wheels which took longer to lose momentum than a full loaded goods train. The freewheel made no noise at all on my first few rides (which saddened me a bit) but after about 100kms its started to make a lovely ratchet sound so people can hear me sandbagging. ;-) Aero wise I think I can feel something. Around 35km/h and up you can hear the spokes slicing through the air. At which point it seems easier to keep the speed going. Either that or its all in my head. Regardless they do have an effect on something. Now I have a hot looking bit of kit, that also seems to make me faster. Thanks ProBikeKit.
