Prime Tyre

Having gone through a number of branded contenders, I tried the TriComp following a review I saw on BikeRadar. By far the best tyre I have used to date - great rolling characteristics, cornering is good and not a single puncture encountered in over 3,000 miles. Topped-up with 4x tyres in the recent probikekit.co.uk promotion! Highly recommended.

Great Buy!

A 'Must Buy' at this price! I've used these for 15 years for everything from time trials to London-Edinburgh, and even some off-road stuff. (You might just find something more suitable for Cyclo-Cross). They roll well, are exceptionally easy to get on and off (even with cold wet hands), are durable, resist punctures, grip well, and are easy to clean - even the coloured ones. They're fold-able if you want to carry a spare, but I haven't destroyed one yet. Which may be a silly thing to write.... Sort of difficult to get any better than that, really.

Simply the best!! Epic tyre's grip on ice, last set went for 4500 miles (they were then totally fu*ked but wold still hold 140 psi and grip in the dry. Also 1 puncture in a pair over thar distance on cruddy norfolk roads. Epic.

Stuck these on and immidietely did a quick 25 miles with my club made my bike seem a lot faster than with the old giant own tyres and seemed to grip better. Highly recommended

Great wet weather grip

5

I switched to these tyres after a ride on particularly greasy roads a few weeks ago. On that ride I didn't have much confidence with grip in the corners after losing the front wheel once and coming off, and then having the back wheel slip later on on another corner. One week later, with these fitted and in similar conditions I felt much more confident with the grip levels. I can't comment on durability yet, but can say that in terms of performance as a winter/wet weather training tyre these are great value. Also they were an excellent price on PBK, and arrived very quickly.

Excellent Tyre

5

These were my first purchase from Probikekit and my first encounter with Vredestein and i have to day I've been blown away, I'm not a weight weeny but these tyres came in 100g lighter that my stock tyres on my TCR which I have swapped out due to punctures. I've been riding in some iffy conditions and so far I haven't had a puncture, they look great and feel quality so I am very pleased.

The tyre we would trust most riding hard in filthy conditions

Vredestein’s Fortezza lives up to its ‘all weather competition tyre’ marketing description, with the 25mm size adding a beautiful buoyancy to one of our favourite all-rounder tyres.

TriComp refers to the triple compound tread that gives a totally trustworthy cornering character while still running as fast as the best race tyres.

The plump, rounded carcass moulds really well for excellent comfort and rough road compliance, which flatters traction even further. It also helps them shrug off impact damage and the lightweight puncture protection is really effective.
