Wasn’t sure about this before purchase but was sold on the graphene technology. Never looked back. Been a superb type.

Corsa G+ Tubular 28mm

First, let me admit that I have always been a big fan on Vittoria tubulars going back to the CXs and SCs. Having said that, these tires — particularly in the 28mm — are spectacular! I build up a new bike a year and a half ago and treated myself to a set of Lightweight Mielensteins. While these wheels are incredibly stiff and light, they are not the most comfortable wheels on the market (in part due to the relative width of the rim) particularly coming off of ENVE 3.4s. Just as I was starting to consider if I was going to make a change, I put a set of 28mm Vittoria’s on the wheels and now they are light, stiff, fast AND comfortable. The suppleness of the tire, the grip (although truth be told I don’t ride these wheels in the wet) and the puncture resistance (at least thus far with about 500 miles on them) has been up to the standard I have come to expect. Just ordered 4 more!

Reliable, Supple & Fast

I like experimenting new stuff especially when comes to cycling and Tubulars is one switch which I haven't regret making. Started cycling using clincher 3 years ago with Conti GP4000 even tried using Latex vs Butyl inner tubes. Then one year ago took the courage and switch to Tubular. Read a few comparison online and Vittoria Corsa G+ was my pick. Like most people my biggest fear was Punctual and Speed wasn't that important for my leisure type of riding. After riding these tyres for more than 1,000km now , tried both 25" and 28" even on Tan vs Black tyre wall and I reach this conclusion. I have not experience any punctual till date and grip and safety is very good both in wet and dry. I do notice that the Black side wall tyre seems to hold air better compare to Tan wall. But you still need to pump them up for each ride. And unlike Clinchers, these tyres likes to be pump up above 120psi to enjoy the suppleness. I tried 85 - 100psi which I use to do when riding clincher but hear a fellow experience rider telling me to pump it up to 120-130psi so I follow and I am glad I did. These tyres roll faster noticeably. I am glad I pick Vittoria as my choice for Tubular and it change my perspective about using Tubular altogether. Conti GP4000 are great clinchers but I think Vittoria are better Tubular makers.

Vittoria Corsa G+

If you are still riding wired on clinchers, you don't know what its like to be flying on wings, floating in space, or achieve oneness with everything. The Vittoria G+ Tubular 25mm will convince you that you can achieve happiness and discover the meaning of life. This is space shuttle technology for cyclists in a tubular.

not strong

these tires do ride nicely, and are easy to mount, given their softness (compared to continentals). in terms of durability they are somewhat better than grand prix 4000 II, which means they have a very thin outer layer. this makes them prone to cuts (glass on the road slices right through). if you can afford a tire change every 1000 miles, go for them. the valve core is made of cheap alloy (compared to conti), this causes problems with valve extenders (even the one branded as vittoria). Losing air was a problem as a result, using a zipp-style extender worked better (on my 2nd tire). I tried them on the rear, maybe they are better on the front. back to conti competition or gatorskins for the rear, since I ride on roads that are not well maintained. too bad, because the ride is actually nice and fast.

better than best

I used to think that the previous model was the best tubbie out there until I rode these. They ride smoother with a better grip cornering and seem to be faster. Just got back from 8 days in the Alps on small rough roads with no cuts or flats. I bought some more even though I didn't need them yet.

nice tire

very nice in terms of both appearance and performance. used them to race and in a training ride, without issue. good rolling tire. i hope the graphene contributes to its durability. time will tell. overall, very happy to have found these at such a sharp discount.
