Fast but low volume compared to others

4

I've been riding Conti 4000s in summer and Michelin Pro4 endurance in winter for the past 5 or 6 years. Thought I'd try something different and chose the Corsa G+ based on reviews. Firstly, the Corsas come up very small compared to the Conti and Michelin. On the same rim, the other two measure 28mm for a 25c and 31mm for a 28c. I like the extra volume of those tyres. I bought the 28c Corsas and they blow out to 28.5mm. Their ride feel is very similar to 25c in the others. They are fast and relatively comfortable (but no more than the others at the right pressure) relative to a 25c in the others but do not offer the comfort and compliance I get from 28c in the other two. For this reason, I won't buy the Corsas again. Can't comment on puncture protection as I've only done about 200km on them.

Great grip and aesthetically pleasing

I’ve consumed two sets of Conti 4000sii, and gave it a try for these due to good feedbacks from multiple riders. Also for me, the tires grip the grounds securely. It’s premature to write about their durability for now, so I’ll update it later. Most importantly, I got more bang for its buck thanks to ProBikeKit! It’s a huge bargain!!

Great but not greatest

I was a bit uncertain at first as I sustained a pretty bad cut in the rear tyre after 500 miles...I did a repair with some liquid rubber and duct tape in the inner wall and swapped front and back....I was able to eek out 2040 miles from 8 Feb to mid May overall, so I felt they were worth the price paid. After 2k miles, flats were more frequent, and I found another nasty cut so I decided to "retire" them. Overall, they roll beautifully, especially with latex tubes. I'm not a great fan of the grooved tread, they are always collecting bits of gravel. After my current cont4000 run, which I am really liking as well, I have a pair of all black Vittoria Corsa G+ Contols to test out. On my rims (DA C40) the size 25's are a bit plumper than than the conti's. so I'm guessing closer to 28's. I ride 120psi in back, 115 in front. The tan sidewalls are really cool looking I will say.

Supple Tires!

I previously rode Vittoria Open Corsa CX tires for their ride and handling, however their durability was not good. It seemed a new cut in the tire was only a ride away! Then I switched to the 700x23 version of these, hoping for the same ride and handling, but with increased durability. That's exactly what I got—thousands of miles ridden, with only a small cut found on my rear tire. In fact, the 700x23 version of the Corsa G+ felt as if I'd switched to the 700x25 version of the Open Corsa CX. The ride was that much smoother. Fast forward to this year, when I switched to the 700x25 version of the Corsa G+, and I couldn't be happier. They are without question the best riding/handling tires I've ever ridden, and I'm expecting that they'll be just as durable as my first set of G+'s. For what it's worth, my setup: Wheels: Campy Bora One 35s Frame: 2010 Wilier Cento 1, XL

Vittoria corsa g+

I have to admit.. I took a bit of s risk with these tyres. I previously had the Corsa tubs. And whilst they were fast and comfortable. They punctured extremely easily. Now, I haven't had these tyres long so I can't comment on durability. But I can tell you that they are easy to get on the rim.. They are fast and comfortable. I'm running 25mm with vittoria latex tubes. I van also tell you that the puncture resistance is amazing. Whilst on on my ride today. I hear a pinging sound. Like a twig or something stuck in the wheel. After a close inspection. It turned out to be a small nail stuck in the tyre.. As I removed the nail, I was expecting that dreaded whoosh of air escaping at speed from the tyre. But to my utter astonishment the tyre stayed inflated. The graphine strip in these tyres really is super tough. After this experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending these tyres.. And not to forget.. The service from Pro bike kit was second to nun..

Changed up to the 28mm to see if it made much difference from the 25's. Wow, what a superb choice faster so much more comfortable. Great decision.

Graphine tyres

If you want tyres that are smooth round and great endurance try these VittoriaG+ clincher road tyres and also the diameters are within a reasonable range as most other brands are ridiculously extreme beyond diameter measurements ! “Ride safe ride graphine “

Best tyres

5

Best tyres I've ridden to date. They roll fast and grip really well. I have increased confidence when taking corners and go quicker with less effort. They beat the Conti GP4000s in rolling resistance and wear. I will definitely buy another set for my other bike.
