Awesome tyres

I've used Veloflex tyres a few times. This is the first time I've used 25mm tyres. They roll beautifully and soak up the vibrations. No punctures yet, however time will tell. I'll definitely be buying them again, especially if Probikekit does the buy 2 get 1 free deal again.

Love these! Tried Conti GP4000s and Schwalbes One but always come back to these for feel and suppleness. Possibly not as puncture proof as they wear a little faster than the other 2 but performance wise, they're a step above in all conditions so I'm happy with the trade-off.

Great tyres

Veloflex tires are still handmade in Italy... Need I say more?! But I will. Absolutely love these tyres. Great grip, confident cornering, stable in wet conditions. Pair them with latex tubes and the suppleness is immediately evident. Reasonable puncture resistance. The box says don't use with carbon clinchers but I spoke with Veloflex CS and they said it can be done at your own risk. To quote them directly: "we reported this information because after some tests resulted that some carbon rims of the last production models have really sharp and aggressive edges in the bead seat area, this could lead to the casing cutting of our clinchers. Not being able to check all the rims on the market (this depends on the single rim and it is not related to a certain brand or a model) we wrote this warning on our boxes, the responsibility of the use of our clinchers on those rims is on behalf of the final user". So I read that as it was a problem in the past but shouldn't be with newer rims.... I could be wrong but haven't had any issues yet. The only reason they don't get a perfect rating is because mounting them the first time is incredibly hard! Once they've been mounted, they are the easiest tyres to take on and off, but that first time fresh out the box, it can be a real struggle.

Rides like a tubular

I've only ridden a few hundred miles on these so this covers the ride quality only. They are the closest I've ridden to a tubular. Weight is true. Width on the 25 is closer to 24 on Campy Eurus wheels. The file tread is great in all conditions. Cornering is where they really shine.

Veloflex Corsa 25

The simplest design is usually the best design -- these tyres are great. Easy to mount by hand (no tools) and remove by hand (no tools). Waiting to learn how durable the pair will be in time. Corsa 25 performs with more than I expected.

These tires kiss the road, no, they "French kiss" the road ( or "Italian kiss" rather ) with lots of rubbery saliva. The road loves me now. Cars kindly get out of my way, taxi drivers smile and wave!  If you feel good AND look good doing it, then you probably are riding these tires too! Congrats.

Treat yourself to the best!

The Veloflex Master & Corsa are the best clinchers I have used. Treat yourself to a luxury ride. You will feel the difference. Tread goes all the way around the tire with a short sidewall. I never experienced a sidewall blowout with these tires. It is a performance tire. Do not expect good life from the tread.

These are the best handling and riding tires I have ridden. Maybe the old Clement silk sew ups were equal, but very expensive.

One of the best riding tire on the road

The cotton casing of this tire is one of the most supple on the market. While it will not last as long as some tires, the pleasure of riding a tire of this quality far out weighs its shorter life span. I have found these tires to resist punctures and cuts pretty well. It helps to avoid punctures and improves ride quality if you run the tires at a pressure that is under 100 psi. I find them to ride best at around 90 psi for my weight. The larger volume in the 25c adds to the great ride quality and also helps improve cornering over the 22c version. This is without a doubt one of my favorite tires to ride.
