Light and fast

These tyres are light and fast but if you run them with high pressure they will puncture. Keep the pressure medium to low and their no puncture reliability is good. I don’t think there is a better speed/weight ratio on the market and the reliability is ok if you get the tyre pressure right. Particularly good mountain bike tyre for road use.

Puncture resistance is BAD

Excellent rolling resistance and grip. I mainly ride road but need enough traction to go onto shoulder when cars pass. I also need enough grip for gravel on road when going around corners. I ride about 2,000 miles a year. I took these out on an 11 mile ride and both got flats from goatheads immediately. I've only had one flat previously in the past 3 years.
