Great tire and good price.

I have been using these tyres for the past 4000 Km this year and they are much better than the Prorace 3. A bit of squaring off on the back tyre but this may be due to my 185 lbs.

Overall good, gripping wheel

5

These wheels roll up to pace very quickly, have excellent grip.
especially when cornering hard in wet weather.
Very happy about these wheels, no regrets buying them at all

wearing well and very smooth

I felt like spoiling myself with some new tires on a multi-buy discount. couldn't be happier with the improvement in the ride quality over my old tires. much more grip and confidence cornering - which took me a while since by old set slipped out on me before. too early to tell on wear, but after 700 miles looking fine

Great Improvement

The new Pro4 is really better than the Pro3. The tyre has a longer life and feels better than before! I recommend it strongly to everyone!

My new Favorite tire

5

So far like them the best of all the tires I have tried. Ride better then the Conti 4000s, seem to roll better as well. Ride feels a lot like the Vitoria Open Course but seems to be much tougher. More durable then the PR3 and not big and fat like the PR2. Been using them on chopped up roads (which is about everywhere these days) and so far no cuts and the ride quality is great even over these roads.

The profile moves more toward a point then the round shape of the PR3s. So I am riding them at higher pressure. It seems to work fine but I worry that it will flat spot earlier then other tires.

I like these tires and hope that I will continue to have similar results as I rack up the miles.

A Fine Tire

5

I've put right around 500km on my first pair of Pro 4's. So far they seem very similar to the Pro 3's. The rounded profile is very noticeable and goes away as the tire flattens out. With 500 km on the tire is still retains the profile. I haven't ridden the tires long enough to make a judgment about the improved resistance against cuts.

For people who have not used Pro 3's. The tires are a reasonably supple ride, quick rolling, and fairly lightweight. They may not be the best tire in any one aspect, but the is no better all-around tire in my opinion.

Pfft to puncture protection

1

In one week I managed to get a flat in both front and rear. The second week, I flatted out again but this time I got a cut through the rear. In 2 weeks, GARBAGE!

Great tires for Pro 3 users

4

Same feel as the Pro 3's but they feel like the corner a bit better.

Update: Super after many hundreds of miles so far

5

I will update these to 5 stars as I have enough miles on now to assess better. I'll give 5 stars because they really are holding up exceptionally well to the same roads that would have already ripped up the Pro3 Race. The squaring off of the rear is actually pretty minimal (but a little bit is happening). The durability is superb for the performance.

None of cuts and chips like Pro3 but does square off quick

4

I've always loved the Pro3s as the nicest tire for me by ride quality and feel, except for them getting cuts and bits out of them incredibly easy! My Pro3s always got all cut up to oblivion long before they squared off or got worn out.

So...

The Pro4s with only about 600 miles or so (on the identical good quality roads which chopped up the Pro3s so quick) are in absolutely superb shape with no cuts whatsoever so far. The same roads, while nice roads, would have cut up the Pro3s already. However, the rear (not the front) Pro4 is squared off quite a bit - and certainly more than the Pro3s would be for the same miles.

They feel about the same as the Pro3s, but I honestly have not been on Pro3s for some time having switched to Krylions because of the cutting problem. The Pro4s, as expected, feel faster and cleaner than the Krylions.

Based on the lack of cuts, I recommend these over the Pro3s.

I have not tried the Enduro, which might solve the squaring off problem. Not yet a problem - I'll see how many miles I get before it is a problem. Now it is an observation...
