Your front and rear wheel specific racing tyres. The new GP Attack benefits from its special Black Chili version that gives the streamlined 22mm front tyre more grip with lower rolling resistance, compared to the previous GP Attack tyre. The new GP Force is a powerful rear wheel specialist and with its 24mm section combined with a fast Black Chili compound, it gives excellent traction and road handling that's second to none.

Good value, great km... no punctures (yet)

This is my third set of Force & Attacks, I am in the heavier end of the range ~ 95kg, and I find that the tyres wear well, fell great on the road, and they do seem to be puncture resistant. Yes you do tend to wear the rear out before the front, but does it really matter ?
My next set will be Force & Attack again.

great value, great ride

These tires feels like tubulars do. I've been riding on this model for a couple of years and they can't be beat. + PBK sells them for the best price on the net.

Good

Just put on a pair of these tyres and immediately noticed a difference. They roll and courner well and got a new top speed going down a decent i've been down several times previous.

Very similar to the Grand Prix 4000

In every sense these are very similar to the Grand Prix 4000 tires. The one draw back is that since back tires naturally wear quicker than the front, so you will at some point have to switch out the back specific Force tire for something else. However, I do think if you switched it for a Grand Prix 4000, you will be fine in terms of performance and handling.

Great tyre combination

These are a great tyre combination. I can't understand why other manufacturers haven't also designed specific tyres for the front and rear wheels. I've used these for about 8 years now and found they last a long time (I get about 4,500 km's out of them), great grip, they're low weight, and they have great puncture resistance (although I think the older ones used to be a bit better on that - I'm not sure why). Anyway, based on my expereience, I'll keep using them.

Great for bigger riders

Attack = best clincher race tyre around...love the profile for aero rims

Force = bit too big a bag to justify for smaller riders (i.e. it is a true 24mm bag tyre and probably a bit too wide for some frames

Twin pack value hard to beat

Ideal set-up - buy 2 sets, put the 24mm (Force) tyres on your training wheels and 22mm Attack tyres on your race wheels!

A must for 80kg riders who want the best ride/performance.

I loved Conti GP 4000S tyres till I tried the Attack/Force set.

Then I found Frank Berto's article on tyre drop and rolling resistance on 'normal' roads. And then the penny dropped why these work so much better.

'Average' riders on the road weigh a lot more than pros do, and the 24mm Force allows much better rolling resistance due to less tyre drop, with comfort and safety, which rear 23mm tyres at higher pressures, often way too high under big guys [ ~90kg], can't provide.

Big guys need 25mm rear tyres, and they stop having blowouts as well, as they work for them at sensible pressures.

The 22mm Attack front tyres also make sense, just as my Mavic Ksyriums have shallower and narrower front rims, for the same reason. The fronts do much less work, and you can further reduce RR this way, plus use the saved weight to make a stronger rear wheel.

Again following Berto's rules I run 90psi up front [never a pinch flat] and 110-115 in the 24mm Force at the back. I pass most of my colleagues going downhill with ease now.

I believe that you can also buy them individually, and I've got a couple of spare Force tyres.

Best twin pack around

A twin pack that's hard to beat. As a rider who spends a lot of time on tubulars, these have been perfect as a go between. When I'm out on my clinchers, it certainly doesn't feel like it with these on. They run like tubs, roll like tubs & feel like tubs.

Best price on the net is on this website, & for the price you can't find anything that comes close.

A must have if you have expensive wheels!

I bought at the same time Fulcrum Zero Clincher wheels and it would had been dumb to cut on the tires, I wasn't to cheap out on this after buying wheels that expensive and since this twinpack was on sale I jumped on it. I thank Jen from PBK for showing me this as I didn't knew about it before. The idea of having a slightly larger rear tire is genius. They also look great and they have threads to know when they'll be worn out unlike my previous tires (Specialized Mundo?).

Great Tyre Combo

I tried the old Attack/Force years ago, they handled well but they cut up too easily. So I switched to the GP4000s, which have been fantastic tyres.

I just tried another set of Attack/Force, but they now come with the Chilli compound. They have been wearing really well, with no cuts at all and they seem to roll even faster then my GP4000s.

Great handling tyres, worth trying again, now they have the Chilli compound.
