Founded in 1996, the Italian brand fi’zi:k (fizik) has been the premium offering of saddle making giant Selle Royal since 1997. They are now a market leader in offering products for the contact points of when bike meets rider. Think saddles, shoes, handlebars and handlebar tape.

Since day one, there has been a passion for design behind all of its products. Across its unashamedly high-end range of products, their mission is ‘to make the most sophisticated, inspiring and beautiful gear for the world’s most discerning cyclists’. Along with its attention to design fizik’s products offer light weight and comfort.

However, fizik are certainly not all style and no substance. From its origins, the vision has been to improve rider performance via superior saddle comfort. A comfortable rider can hold a powerful position for longer after all.

As a result, the company have seen their products’ performance capabilities tested at the highest levels of professional cycling in a variety of disciplines. Their saddles have been ridden to victory in numerous professional races by Grand Tour winners and World Champions alike.

How low can you go?

Through extensive research and development, including physiological testing all of its range are designed to ensure they are innovative and capable of competing in the most demanding scenarios.

Across its range of race-orientated products, it caters for riders of varying flexibility. The Aliante range, for example, is optimised for those with low flexibility, while the Arione is the most aggressive saddle aimed at the highly flexible riders. So, regardless of your level of experience there’s a product catered to your needs.

Additionally, its products are designed to work in conjunction with one another. Its saddle will complement its shoes and its handlebars.
