Nice tool, extremely overpriced

This does exactly what one would expect a cable cutter to do, and it does it fairly well. There really isn't much that can be said about a simple tool such as this, besides noting that it is rather well put together. Good quality and nice feel to the tool. The price however, is absurd. It should cost maybe half of what it retails for.

Well made but not brilliant

Well made tool. Love the rubberised handles. Don't cut anything other than housings with it and it will last forever. It won't create a perfect cut... but no cable cutters will. Always finish your cut with a file (for a smooth/flush end for ferrule to mate with) and Bob is your father's brother!

surprisingly effective... but expensive

These cutters work very well, cutting cables & housings easily.

The cutters do not crush housing too bad, but housings will still require some clean up. Nevertheless, I prefer using a dremel to cut housings, as that tool makes the cuts perfectly clean with zero crushing.

Many cables are too hard to be cleanly cut by generic cable cutters. These cut cables easily, cleanly & without any unravelling of the cable.

But to be honest, $40+ is simply too expensive for such a basic tool. It may last a life time, but a tool half the price would work well still.
