a good deal
4I was looking to upgrade to a more comfortable saddle. I read a lot of reviews and found this one at a great price. It is labeled gel but it is a very solid platform. If you are a pure racer this saddle is probably not for you but if you are looking for quality and good support it may be the one. Best price and free shipping .too

3Typical Selle Italia experience. This saddle is too narrow for me. It seems to feel narrower than specified, causing sit bone discomfort after about an hour of riding. On the plus side, this saddle does relieve a lot of pressure on the prostrate and favors an aggressive riding position.

5Have been using this saddle for more than 12 years and love it. Perfect fit for me and it has eliminated any sore areas during long rides. Saddle fit is a very personal thing so when you get one that works you stick with it. The only issue I have with this saddle is the last one developed a creaking that appears to be coming from where the rails fasten to the saddle suspension. Hoping it was a one off and do not experience the same problem with this latest purchase.

5This is my third purchase of Sella Italia Max Flite Gel Flow. I find that the built-in elastomer suspension and internal padding gives a smooth ride on rough roads. It fits my anatomy perfectly and has the advantage of a large central opening to protect sensitive nerves and arteries. I am a bit surprised that I wear holes in the sides of the leather about every 2 years (sometimes before the 24 month warranty expires and get a free replacement). That may be due to my large leg muscles and most people may not experience this failure. In any case I am so satisfied with the saddle that I will continue to purchase them.

5A happy bottom leads to a great ride experience. Just enough cushion in the right place. Sit Bones are good for me. A Saddle is a very personal thing, this saddle fits me perfect. To find the right saddle, you need to get measured at the bike shop and then try the right saddle size. Not all saddles are the same, what works for me may not work for you. So, find the right saddle for yourself.

5This is the third saddle a bought and this max flite is a real improvement from the old itala gel I got. Be aware that the gel stuff make it hard when first installed. Take around 200KM to get softer. Shock absober really does the job. Recommend, especially for the price I got (83$ CAD)...

4I've tried a few cut-out saddles over the years but never found them to fit me quite right. Usually the cut out introduced a new pressure point. This one is the best cut out I've tried and the best looking. It's rather flat and stays out of the way when on the drops but was not comfortable in a more upright position on the brake hoods, which is where I ride most of the time. When I bought this, I also ordered a Fabric Scoop on sale just in case the Max Flight Gel didn't work for me. I am very glad I did because the Fabric Scoop is a near perfect match for my anatomy and ridind style. The Max Flight will go on my indoor trainer bike. I am hoping the cut-out will offer some cooling ventillation during indoor workouts.

4After riding on a saddle like this, I broke the bank and bought one. After two 100 plus mile rides and several shorter ones the saddle has proven it self a good purchase.

5This saddle doesn't need breaking in and it is comfortable right out of the box. Recommended by a friend and I liked it so well I bought another saddle just like it for my older bike. Just enough padding to be comfortable but not too soft so other parts and chafe. Best bike saddle I've used and I've tried quite a few. Highly recommend it especially with elastomers underneath.

5This is the first time using a Selle Italia Max Flite Gel Flow. I have been a Kontact saddle man for many years and was very satisfied with the ride. As I have aged to 70 I was looking for a little more comfort without loosing the performance and a little wider seat platform. I have been riding on it all week doing some 17 to 25 mile interval rides and wasn't quit sold yet. Last night I did a forty group ride with the young guys and was completely overwhelmed with the comfort without loosing the performance. Will be be doing a 65 tomorrow and expect no less. Looks awesome, rides great, performs even better.
