Not bad, but not brilliant
3Variation on the old favourite. This one does have a few pressure points on the peroneal grooves that might deter some and the shell is a little flexy. This can have an impact on piriformis tightness on some people. Oh and difficult to clean if it get a lot of mud on it...tiny perforations love clogging up!

When buying this saddle, I picked it because it seemed like the best compromise between a performance saddle (for fairly serious training) and a saddle that could be used for longer rides. And I think I chose well.
It's not the lightest, but a light saddle can never be this comfortable. It only took a few rides to get used the saddle and now I can't imagine sitting on anything else.
Enjoyed for a couple seasons, but after that it was time for a new one
4I really liked this saddle when I first got it. The centre cut out did its job of relieving pressure. But after a couple of seasons, I had found I would have days where I wasn’t comfortable. Could be that it was at the end of its life span, which is fair, and it could be some other variables or my changing tastes.

The latest incarnation of the Flite saddle might look a little different to the original, but it still combines a reasonably light weight with huge comfort, which is what has made it so popular over more than a decade.
The slender body and narrow nose provide ample support without being too bulky, and there’s enough length to allow you to shift your position when you need to ease aching muscles.
A little flex in the shell takes the sting out of potholes, while elastomers at the ends of the rails provide more absorption. The real star, though, is the silicone gel used in the upper – it moulds to your body to provide cushioning from vibration.
