Elegantly effective

Time-honoured, simple, effective, no-maintenance pedals from Look. Lets you go out and ride, that's all. No problems or complaints.

When buying pedals, it is important to buy the better one, and it is coming with a great price, so much better.

Average pedal

I have owned a pair of these pedals for over a year and they have done many rides. Previously I have used Shimano. I purchased a white pair of Keos which look super when new and clean. Axles rotate freely and weight is good. Q-factor allowance has been good and after a professional bike fit I now use 2 washers each side to keep my knees aligned.

There are two things you need to be aware of.... Firstly, the cleats for these peadls do not offer any traction whatsoever when you are off the bike and I have nearly injured myself a few times now on wet surfaces. Secondly and as previously pointed out the pedals can be awkward to clip into as they are naturally weighted so they rest at an upwards and slightly backward angle which to my opinion is not the best for locating the shoe clips. I think these pedals and cleats could be improved significantly for both of these reasons. Next set of pedals I buy will be Shimano.

Good solid stomping platform

Switching over from eggbeaters, I love the solid positive engagement. I feel confident getting out of the saddle without worrying about accidentally unclipping.
Need to get used to the one sided entry though. That's the only disadvantage of road pedals in general, except Speedplay I guess.

Great upgrade!

I have a pair of these on all three of my rigs; road, time trial and track. They make almost any frame look even better without adding much weight. Outstanding power transfer, easy to clean and service, and no hotspots even after long rides.

Great value pedals - variety of floats available

4

Strong, lightweight and easy to locate your cleat in. The pedals have adjustable tension as you'd expect, but the float adjustment is fulfilled by different coloured cleats (three available - red, grey and black).

Only drawback - a couple of embarrassing moments at the traffic lights when trying to get back in the pedals - the pedals do not naturally sit the right way up - an additional side to clip in or better weighting would be wonderful.

That said - at the price-point, they are a fantastic set of pedals!

Great value pedals - variety of floats available

4

A great mid-range pedal, providing 3 variations of float with different coloured cleats and easily adjustable tension on the pedal.

They are relatively lightweight, strong, and the contact is confident once clipped in.

Although the cleats are relatively easy to locate in the pedal (once you're used to the position on your shoe), the pedal does not naturally lie the right way up, occasionally causing some embarrassing moments at traffic lights! It would definitely benefit from better balance or a second entry on the other side.

Good Kit

4

Pleased with these pedals having used a few look system pedals over the years. Can be a bit stiff to clip in, but once you are in they are smooth, clean, and transfer power well. White looks nice new, but scuffs up easily, next time I will get a darker colour.

Some people like pedal systems where you can clip in to either side, I agree this would be good thing which you don't get on these pedals.

Light and sleek-looking

At 130g each, these pedals are some of the lightest for the money. The LOOKs look slick in any colour (maybe not the yellow though). They also make a reassuring solid click when you clip in, which is a plus.

More solid platform than the Keo Easy

4

I like these alot. I have tried them after a couple years on the Keo Easy model and they are a marked improvement. They appear to be made out of similar materials but the platform is wider so you feel like you have more to push down upon. The ability to adjust the release pressure is a nice component that the Easy doesn't have. They seem to be a right solid piece of equipment.
