Very small

I had to go up TWO sizes to get a pair of these to fit, but having done that, they are great, The laces take a bit of thought to tuck them well away, but not that much of a problem.

Mr

Bought a size 43 when wear size 41 in regular type shoes. They fit well with a pair of thickish cycling socks so would recommend anyone else to do the same. Often the case with Italian sourced products. Not worn them on the Bike as yet but feel a good fit with tight closure against the elements. Have fitted cleats which was simple but could be used with flats also.

Finally found decent winter boots

I've been after winter boots that would work in all the conditions of mtbing that I encounter and up until now had not found anything that covers everything well enough. There are plenty of mid height, warm, waterproof and robust boots that are grippy on flats but a lot of the type of biking that I like to do has me shouldering the bike and walking up paths that either rocky, boggy or slippery wet grass. The aggressive tread pattern and grippy rubber sole seems to work well though I haven't had the chance to fully test for long it in all conditions yet. In that respect in feels like a lightweight walking boot - in a good way. Sole is very stiff - as it should be. The boots are warm, again so far we've been blessed with it not being extremely cold but it has been extremely wet and muddy. Waterproof yes but I'm using running gaiters over the boots and long tights over those. Staying dry so far. For extreme wet weather I have some dry suit , latex gaiters but there comes a point riding in Scotland that you either take your shoes off and wade the river or just plough through it. Very comfy, and a great fit. This has been a problem in trying out other mtb shoes but these are similar fit as my Shimano summer shoes for which I have to size up (as most folk seem to have to do). YMMV. All good so far.
