Craft Active Extreme Crew Neck Short Sleeve Base Layer - Blue

I have tried and tested a lot of different types of baselayers and I feel I have finally cracked it with the right combo. I am out in all kinds of weather pretty much 365. I am a cyclist, runner and cross country skiier. All three of these are high activity sports and so call for a different function in base layer than say alpine skiing or rambling. For skiing espcially it is important to keep dry and warm despite working up a sweat when it's below zero. It can be a challenge to find a base layer that can cope with these requirements but the Craft Active extreme does that in spades. becuase it does such an excellent job keeping you dry even in all out race conditions or over a 4 hour outting in zero temps - it means you need less bulking layers and you don't over heat. I find the Craft extreme base with a soft shell outer will see me through most conditions down to minus 5 below that I swtich out to a merino base for extra warmth. I have not found a better wicking layer than the Craft active extreme range they really do what they say and for windy days just get the zero wind blocker and that's all you need. The short sleeve active extreme is great for warm weather training too perfect for hill running when it can get a bit cooler at the top but still working a sweat.
